Resources for Online and Distance Students

Taking an online class? Learn about how the library can help you succeed.

Digital Course Reserves

The library strives to support affordable learning options for students. To that end, we encourage you to use videos, eBooks and other online resources that we already own, or are available for free in your teaching. If you are able, reach out to your subject librarian to identify teaching materials that may meet your needs.

Find Resources

Identify resources that the library already owns, or that's available for free online. Search in the library's catalog, OneSearch, or browze our A-Z of databases. To learn how to embed library content in your Canvas course, visit 5 Ways to Bring the Library into Canvas.

Digitize on Demand

Dependent on library staffing and demand, we will attempt to scan and digitize course reserve materials. To request materials be scanned for your course, contact your subject librarian today.

Open Educational Resources

If you are interested in providing high quality, zero-cost materials to your students, check out our Open Educational Resources guide or contact your subject librarian for assistance.

We support your learning preferences and needs during this time. For help in finding or accessing course materials, please contact your subject librarian.
