Using the SRJC Library

Using the library: Students

Books & Media

Community members are welcome to use the SRJC Libraries print collections inside the Doyle and Mahoney Library buildings. If a community member needs to borrow materials, a Community Borrower Card that is valid for the current semester may be obtained for a fee of $10.00. Cards are issued to those who can show proof of residence in Sonoma County and who are 18 years of age or older.

Students under 18 years of age who wish to use the library should be accompanied by an adult card holder.

*High school students who are enrolled in classes at SRJC have full access to the library resources.

Accessing Databases

Residents of Sonoma County, 18 years or older, who are not currently enrolled at SRJC, may apply for a Community User account which offers one-hour of library computer use daily. Community User access to the computers occurs by Student ID (SID) number and Personal Identification Number (PIN) Code. In order to obtain a Community User account, eligible patrons must present a current, valid form of government-issued photo identification that indicates residency in Sonoma County and must have an active email address.
