In this session, participants will learn to identify authentic storytelling, and differentiate between diverse cultural representations of characters in film versus harmful racialized, stereotypical characters, and discuss why producers, directors and screenwriters of color are critical to innovation in film. Participants will acquire the tools to view films from a non-racist perspective.
