GEP 110

A guide to help you get started on your research project.

Meet Your Librarian

Hello!

My name is Hilary Smith and I am the subject librarian for the GEP department.

As subject librarian for GEP I:

  • Meet with students one-on-one or in groups for research/reference consultations.
  • Provide course specific instruction on how to maximize use of library resources for research.
  • Purchase library materials such as books, journals, and data sets.

In this guide, I want to give some tips on how to approach your research project and presentation.  I hope this information will help get you started, but you may still have questions as you dive into the project. I'm happy to help you if you get stuck with your research or answer questions about the process and about library resources so please do follow up with me as those questions come up!

You can contact me to talk about your research by scheduling an appointment or by email:

You can also get help via Chat 24/7, where you can talk to a librarian from our worldwide network.

I look forward to working with you, so don't hesitate to reach out!
