On August 18, 2-4 PM the library will be hosting Love Your Library, an open house event for new and returning Sonoma State Students.

During the open house, students are invited to explore the Jean & Charles Schulz Information Center, learn about services available to them throughout the building, and meet faculty and staff that will support their success at SSU.

From 2 - 4 PM, students who enter the building will receive a Love Your Library stamp book. Students are then encouraged to visit six distinct locations in the library to learn about distinct offerings/services that location can provide.

The locations are:

  • LARC
  • CAASE
  • Advising & Transfer Center
  • Research Help
  • Makerspace
  • Special Collections

Locations are encouraged to provide an interactive element for students to learn about the services they provide. Once they do visit the location, and learn more about the service offered, locations will stamp the students’ stamp book. Students that receive all six stamps and answer the stamp books questions are invited to turn in their completed passport for a chance to win a door prize.
