Browsing the Print Collection

Books are organized by subject using the Library of Congress Classification system (LCC). The B section is designated for philosophy, psychology, and religion. BL - BX are specific to religion. The following table gives more details about how books are organized in the BL-BX sections.

The library subscribes to many e-books, which can be discovered in OneSearch and accessed from on or off campus with a Seawolf ID. 

Here are some specific collections. The ACLS Humanities E-book collection is available for SSU students only. Project Gutenberg and the Prelinger Library are free to anyone.
