Search the Library

Search OneSearch for books, media, articles, primary sources, newspapers, journals, and more. Selecting CSU+ will allow you to search across all CSU libraries and request items we don't have.

The SSU Library offers books in both print and online formats. E-books are available via links in the OneSearch record. Most of our print books are on the 3rd floor, or in our Automated Retrieval System.

OneSearch will tell you what the call number of the book is, which is kind of like it's address on the shelf. If it's in the ARS, you'll need to request it (look for a blue Request link, which you need to be logged in to see). It will take about 30 minutes for us to retrieve the item from the ARS. You'll get an email when it's available for you to pick up at the Information/Checkout Desk.

Subject Encyclopedias & Dictionaries

These encylopedias and dictionaries are great for overviews and background information.  The content of these books can be accessed and read online. Search many titles at once or each individually.
