California has dry, windy, and often hot weather conditions from late spring through autumn that can produce moderate to devastating wildfires. The Library has created a guide to resources to provide an informative look at wildfires in California.
In Fall 2018, the Library hosted a Gallery exhibit with 21 participants documenting and responding to the fall 2017 firestorm through painting, photography, video, and mixed media work. See the artworks exhibited in the Reflections: After the Fire tab of this guide.
