Adding the Library to your Canvas Course

Putting the Library in Your Canvas Course

Jean Charles Shulz Information Center The library is committed to providing students low-cost access to course materials. We know that access can be more complicated in remote environments, and are here to help.

This guide is a place for faculty to discover different ways to link SSU Library resources and help to Canvas pages (or any course web page).

There are lots of possibilities! Contact me if you have questions, comments or ideas for other resources.

Connecting Students to Course Materials Webinar

On July 16, 2020 this information session was delivered via Zoom.

This session is for instructors and staff supporting instructors in teaching remotely. We cover how the library can help connect students with course materials including

  • finding content already available through library resources, freely available online, or through open licenses (Open Educational Resources),
  • purchasing access to new materials like ebooks or video,
  • helping digitize content, providing information on copyright and fair use.
